On March 28, 2025, our mEErFrauen networking event took place at the LOG-IN start-up center at the kind invitation of the Neumünster Business Agency, and it was an all-round successful evening! 🎉
A big thank you to everyone who attended and enriched the event with their commitment and energy. We had great conversations, inspiring insights and valuable networking opportunities.
Our host, Iris Meyer, Managing Director of Wirtschaftsagentur Neumünster GmbH, gave us interesting insights into business development in the region. She showed how Schleswig-Holstein remains on course for success with renewable energies – for example through the GreenH2Hub in Neumünster, a hydrogen lighthouse project designed by star designer Hadi Teherani. She also highlighted the “Clean Energy Valley Schleswig-Holstein” initiative, which promotes close regional cooperation between companies, science and politics. These collaborations strengthen the region and position Schleswig-Holstein as a leading model region for green energy.
Eva Hegge-Goldschmidt from Greenteam Kommunikation gave a very exciting impulse, emphasizing the crucial role of communication for the acceptance of projects. A great example was grid planning and the discussion surrounding grid expansion (NEP).
mEErWomen for more women in renewable energies
We at mEErFrauen listened with great interest and not only emphasized in our presentation that the energy transition and the economy need more women, but also highlighted the importance of female leadership models.
It was important for us to make it clear that it is not enough to discuss them only theoretically or from one’s own perspective.
Rather, we need to put these leadership models into practice based on organizational psychology, empirical findings and a clear focus on efficiency in order to bring about sustainable change and attract more women to the renewable energy sector
We welcome the new mEErFrauen, who have taken the opportunity to introduce themselves and strengthen our network from now on.
It was great to see new faces and to further strengthen the mEErWomen community. We look forward to the next exciting event and further exchange! You can find our dates at: http://www.meerfrauen.org
