NRW Offshore Wind Day – part of the 17th Branchentags Windenergie NRW 2025

As part of the 17th NRW Branchentags Windenergie NRW organized by Lorenz Kommunikation, Offshore Wind Kommunikation is once again organizing and moderating the second NRW Offshore Wind Day next year. This time, the specialist event Offshore Wind NRW has moved to the first day, July 8, 2025, from Gelsenkirchen to Düsseldorf.

The focus will be on expertise from NRW for the expansion of wind energy at sea, the transformation of the regions and the advantages of the offshore wind industry for NRW and the importance of qualified specialists, also as a locational advantage. The focus will be on value creation with offshore wind energy in NRW.

A resilient offshore wind industry needs industry and services in North Rhine-Westphalia. The potential and opportunities associated with offshore wind energy are of crucial importance for an economically successful transformation. We are in good hands in the state capital. Energy and industrial policy issues are already being addressed at the opening of the 17th NRW Wind Energy Industry Day. Offshore wind energy is the main topic here.

In addition to moderating the two discussion rounds in the Offshore Wind NRW part of the conference, I am delighted to be able to accompany the opening discussions with Klaus Lorenz.
